No – IMVU Credits and the ability to purchase, use, and gift them will not go away. VCOIN is simply a new currency option to earn and pay for services rendered by IMVU Producers. For instance, it provides an opportunity for more users (models, editors, bar owners, etc.) to earn real value and convert those earnings into cash.
VCOIN can be purchased, withdrawn, and gifted on IMVU Desktop and IMVU Next. You can also gift and withdraw VCOIN, as well as access your transaction history through the Android version of IMVU Mobile (iOS version coming soon).
IMVU will sell VCOIN at a fixed price of 250 VCOIN for $1.00 ($0.004 per VCOIN).
No, you do not need to be a VIP user to convert VCOIN into cash. Users who complete the requirements of opting in for Two-Factor Authentication and linking their IMVU account with Uphold will be able to convert their VCOIN to cash, pending review.

No – the Earn Money program through IMVU will not change with the addition of VCOIN at launch. Users will still be able to shop directly from Shop with Credits, and IMVU Creators who are part of the Earn Money program will see no change in their account.
At launch, the current Credit payment system and Creator Dev Token program will also stay the same.
